Where do you travel to?
We work all over the UK and have visited schools as far South as Cornwall and up as far as Inverness. For details of specific availability in the area of your school, please contact our office who will be delighted to help.
How long is the show?
All of our pantomimes in schools have the same running time of sixty minutes. We think this is most suited to the attention span of the full range of ages that we cater for.How long does it usually take to Setup/Pack away?
We normally like to arrive at the school an hour before the agreed start time of the performance. It then takes the company approximately 45 minutes to set up. Ideally the school hall will be free from lunch, breakfast clubs etc by this point. Following the performance the set can be taken down more quickly. Usually we can be completely free of the school hall within thirty minutes.Is there an interval?
We do not have an interval during the performance as we feel it breaks the tension and spoils the children's enjoyment of the story.
How many actors will be visiting the school?
All of our pantomimes feature no fewer than four professional performers who have all been professionally trained. We receive many applications each year from young actors wishing to join the company and we are very selective during the casting process.Do you need a stage?
Absolutely not! We pride ourselves on being able to deliver our productions in virtually every conceivable space. In the past, schools have requested that we perform in churches, village halls, classrooms, barns and even outdoors!! If you do have a stage, we may be able to use it, but it is probably best to confirm this with our office first. This way we can ensure that the size etc. is appropriate.
Is there anything else you require on the day?
All we require is a power socket in the vicinity of the performance space. We provide the rest..... (although a cup of tea for the actors is always very welcome on a cold December morning).
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry Public Liability Insurance with an indemnity of 1 000 000. This is underwritten by Wrightsure Insurance Services..
